Abstract:On April 8,2021, India issued the National Education Policy Implementation Plan 2020,which aims to provide action guidelines for the implementation of the“ National Education Policy(2020)”, the most important education policy since the 21st century. With the theme of “promoting the all-round development of students and teachers through high-quality education”,  the plan aims to realize the overall vision of the national education policy, specifically from the educational structure and system, curriculum and teachers, education supervision and governance, funding and quality Starting from the levels of education supply, policy implementation and review, it puts forward specific tasks and goals for the reform of primary and secondary education in India in the next decade. In the future, India needs to further overcome and solve practical problems and challenges in the implementation of the plan, such as the unsatisfactory implementation effect, the weak foundation for the development of primary and secondary education, and the insufficient implementation power of the government.
